Change Management Fundamentals

New to change? Start here. Seven short modules on the people side of change at a nonprofit or health center, from what change management is to designing a change with your team. Each ends with a one-page plan for a real change.

By the end, you will be able to:

  • Explain what change management adds to a project
  • Name what is ending and what stays before you talk about what is new
  • Name who does what in a change, and ask for a missing role
  • Plan who tells each group about a change, and how they answer back
  • Find what is behind pushback, and respond to the source
  • Ask questions that get honest answers
  • Design a change with the people who do the work, one small test at a time
  • 7 modules
  • About 4 hours, plus a short work task after each module
  • Certificate of Completion
